Every great business begins with a simple promise: treat people right.
For us, that promise began in 1975, when George Laudeman founded Laudeman Termite & Pest Control with a commitment to honest work, dependable service, and taking care of the families and businesses throughout Schuylkill County and the surrounding communities.
What started as a small local pest control company grew into a trusted name that generations of customers came to rely on.
A Legacy of Service
Over the next five decades, George and his son, Brian Laudeman, worked side by side to build and expand the company while never losing sight of what mattered most—providing reliable service with integrity and treating every customer like a neighbor.
The company's success was also shaped by the incredible people who dedicated their careers to serving the community. Among them was family member Scott Nettles, whose 25 years of loyal service helped establish the reputation for quality and professionalism that customers know today.
For 50 years, Laudeman's wasn't simply in the pest control business—it was in the people business.
The Next Generation
The story of J&J actually began years before the company changed hands.
Jared first joined Laudeman's as a summer employee, learning the business from the ground up in June 2022. His passion for the industry continued to grow, and in March 2023, he became a Pennsylvania Certified Applicator, gaining the knowledge and credentials needed to provide safe, effective pest management.
In May 2024, John Adams joined the team as a summer helper. Together, John and Jared quickly realized they shared the same vision: preserving everything that made Laudeman's special while preparing it for the future.
In August 2026, that vision became reality when George Laudeman sold the business to Jared and John, as well as an additional business partner Abby Adams, beginning a new chapter under the name J&J Termite & Pest Control.
We aren't just business owners—we're your neighbors.
All three owners—John, Jared, and Abby—are proud residents of Minersville, PA and graduates of Lebanon Valley College, where each earned a four-year degree that now helps us operate, manage, and grow a modern pest control company while maintaining the personalized service our customers have always appreciated.
Our goal isn't simply to eliminate pests.
It's to build lasting relationships, earn the trust of every family and business we serve, and continue giving back to the communities that have supported this company for over 50 years.

Although the name has changed, our mission has not.
We remain committed to the same values that have guided this business since 1975—honesty, quality workmanship, dependable service, and genuine care for every customer we serve.
We are incredibly grateful to George, Brian, Scott, Jen, and everyone who helped build the foundation that allows us to continue this tradition. Their dedication earned the trust of our community, and we consider it an honor to carry that legacy forward.
